Getting here and staying here
If you are considering motorcycle holidays Mallorca couldn’t be an easier destination. Palma de Mallorca is one of Europe’s best contemporary airports, serviced daily by a host of low cost carriers and international airlines. Most of Europe is only around a two-hour flight away so it’s an excellent short-break destination.
If you’re travelling by car (surely not!) or motorcycle, there are mainland ferries from the Spanish ports of Barcelona, Valencia and Denia as well as inter-island ferries that connect Mallorca with Ibiza and Menorca.
You’ll need to arrange your own travel to Mallorca but just visit The Compendium to find links to websites that will help organise your trip.
To be honest, it makes our lives much easier if members of the Albion tribe stay in Palma or between Palma and Andratx (Palma Nova, Magalluf, Peguera) – but if you’ve already got your accommodation sorted elsewhere on the island, don’t worry, we’ll manage.
Most of our guests make their own reservations online – there are so many hotels and so many options, it’s usually quicker and often cheaper if you choose something you like and book direct. If you choose our Excursion and Accommodation option we can make the reservation for you – subject to availability – and you’ll get decent rates. But as we don’t act as a travel agent, you’ll still pay for your accommodation in the usual way, direct to the provider.
We’ve suggested a few options from budget to five star. The Compendium contains links to hotel websites, but here’s a taste of what’s on offer.
